Arnold Farai Shanji is a Surveyor by profession. He holds a BSc Honours Degree in Surveying from the University of Zimbabwe (2004) and a Master’s in Business Administration from the National University of Science a n d T e c h n o l o g y (2 0 1 3). He started his career in 2005 as a lecturer with the Bulawayo Polytechnic College in the Division of Civil Engineering and Construction. In 2006 he was promoted to position of the Examinations Coordinator for the division up to the time he left Bulawayo Polytechnic College in D e c e m b e r 2 0 0 7. Shanji the joined the Zimbabwe School of Mines in 2008 as a Lecturer in the Survey Department and later became the Lecturer –In-Charge in He was appointed the Head of Survey Department in 2010 and has been in that position until December 2015. He was appointed the Registrar and Quality Assurance Officer in 2016 for five years until December 2020. Currently, Arnold has over five years of professional management experience as an academic Registrar for Zimbabwe School of Mines. A Registrar with experience in Admissions, Registration and Records Management.
